Apple pushed out its latest iPhone software update today to the masses, bringing some big new features, and some small bugs, to iPhone owners around the world. iOS 13 focuses mainly on “under the hood” performance improvements that should make older devices more speedy and responsive but also brings some new user-facing features like Dark Mode and a redesigned Photos app. But besides the features, some small bugs have also been found that make the software a bit inconsistent. Some reviewers caution owners to wait for the next update. iOS 13.1 to drop next week, but I say download it now, play around with it, and update to the latest version next week

Disney CEO Bob Iger says that if Steve Jobs were alive today, Disney and Apple may have very well merged to become one company. Vanity Fair shared excerpts from the Disney CEO and former Apple Board Member’s new book ahead of its release, revealing the close ties Jobs and Iger shared. The two worked on strategic partnerships for products like the Video iPod, Apple TV, and iPhone, putting Disney and Pixar’s massive catalog of content on Apple devices. Iger went on to say he believed”.. that if Steve were still alive, we would have combined our companies, or at least discussed the possibility very seriously.” We’ve heard rumblings for a number of years that Apple could acquire Disney, they certainly have enough cash on hand to do so, but the massive challenges and thousands of employees around the world have analysts skeptic, with a merger or acquisition being anything but quick and seamless.
