Huawei Delays Mate X Folding Phone Release
Folding phone maker Huawei has announced that they are delaying the launch of their Mate X foldable phone due to that whole Samsung debacle. The company says they are going to use the extra time to do some additional testing, deciding to take a more cautious approach after all of the issues Samsung had with the Galaxy Fold. But, unlike the Galaxy Fold, the phone is still set to go on sale, now in September for the same whopper of a price tag of $2600.
Facebook is working with some major financial institutions in an effort to launch its own cryptocurrency. The Wall Street Journal is reporting PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Stripe, and others are working with Facebook to launch a Libra, a new cryptocurrency the social giant will soon announce and begin rolling out over the next few years. According to the report, Libra would be a global currency used by all Facebook users to use in the Facebook ecosystem to send friends money or purchase in-game items, but the company is also trying to get other merchants involved to accept the currency beyond the Facebook walls. Major companies have reportedly invested tens of millions to back the currency, which is said to officially be announced this month.

The spy shots show a man using the phone in a case, so we still don’t have any idea on what the front of the phone will look like. But if the Pixel 4 leaks anything like the Pixel 3, it won’t be long until someone has a full-fledged unboxing of it up on Youtube.
