Where Do I Buy a Domain Name?

The post below is in no way a sponsored post. I do state I am an affiliate of Hover.com, but that does is no way affect this post.

Maybe you own mulitple domain names. Maybe you only have one. Whatever the case may be, the domain name you choose is very important, and if you don’t have a domain name, what are you waiting for? Go out and register one right now! And even if you can’t think of any good, catchy domain names, at the least register your name if ...

I’ve been using Hulu Plus for almost a week now, and I must say, I am actually very impressed! I came into it with low expectaions, but I was actually prtty suprised i just how well everything works . The website works, the apps on the iPhone and iPad work, and it a overall positive experience. But there still are somethings that could be improved. Let’s start with listing the features.

The availability of more episodes of a season, and with some Shows, the availably of all episodes of all seasons.
The ability to each Hulu ...

Hulu Plus Invites are Here!

Just got it in yesterday! If you didn’t already know, Hulu announced a new premium service called Hulu Plus. It allows you to watch shows in 720p HD, the ability to watch more episodes of shows, sometimes even every episode of every season, and the biggest feature, the ability to watch Hulu shows on the iPhone, iPad, and select Samsung TVs. Awesome! So at this point, it is in private beta, and invite only. But request an invite! That’s what I did a few months ago and low and behold, I got an ...

How to Convert to VHS Tapes to Digital

I recently stumbled upon some old home movies while cleaning out a closet the other day, and I decided it would be worth while to convert them to digital. That way I could share them with family and friends, edit it, and most importantly, archive it digitally. I already had the equuipment, and the process is not hard, so what the heck! I also wanted to film it just to show you how easy the process is as well.
These are the things you will need:

VHS Tape
VCR or VCR/DVD Combo
Computer
Internal Capture ...

If you have an iPhone, you know that the battery life is not great. I can barley make it through the day without charging it. I can only make it home with about 5% left. So that is why I picked up a Mophie Juice Pack Air back in February at Macworld. I had talked to a few of the representatives Mophie at the Booth, and I had been coontemplatin the purchase for a while. So I went ahead and bought one at the SF Apple Store. It was working great, for ...

Mac Pro vs a Comparable PC

I got this email today from an old friend of mine. I thought this would make a great blog post for me to elaborate on.

Hey Rob, I noticed you ordered a Mac Pro. I was wondering what your thoughts are on buying a Mac Pro vs putting a ( legally bought ) copy of Snow Leopard on a PC with similar specs to the Mac Pro for less money.
- Andrew

Now I found this email very interesting. I just laid down a lot of money for this machine. Like always, I am going ...

I just wanted to share my ongoing story with you. Take this into mind if you are planning on ordering a CTO Mac Pro from the Apple Online Store. I really would like to here what your thoughts and opions are on the subject. Does this hint to a new Mac Pro, or is this just a mess of on Apple’s part? Or is this something totaly diffrent?
