I recently stumbled upon some old home movies while cleaning out a closet the other day, and I decided it would be worth while to convert them to digital. That way I could share them with family and friends, edit it, and most importantly, archive it digitally. I already had the equuipment, and the process is not hard, so what the heck! I also wanted to film it just to show you how easy the process is as well.
These are the things you will need:

VHS Tape
VCR or VCR/DVD Combo
Computer
Internal Capture …
