So if you didn’t already know, the theme I am using is a somehwat customized version of the WP Premium Theme, Arthemia. Arthemia is a very powerful which has caused me much pain and headache to configure. Let’s just say it’s certuianly not an “out of the box” theme. I clocked more FTP connection hours in the past frew weeks then I have over the last few months! Besideds all the headache, I really do think the theme is beautufil. It let’s me show off my content right on the fornt page, and it will also encorperate well with the new anouncment.

BETA RELEASE NOTES

One of the new things on the front page would be the catagorries. The categories  give people a little bit easier way of navigating to the content they want to see. As of now, I haven’t put anything (or at least not uch) in some of them, but I am working hard!

Another thing would be Adsense optomazation. The Banners need work, and I am working on fixing that and getting better placement and whatnot.

The image thumbnails gernerated need resizing sometimes. That is another thing being worked on.

How do you communicate with friends and family in another city, state, or even around the world? You most likely using Skype a VOIP(Voice over iP) to pul this off. Now skype is great don;t get me wrong, but Skype not only takes up a lot of your ram, but uses a lot of bandwidth causing bandwidth issues for gamers. The solution to this is a program called Ventrilo (http://www.ventrilo.com). This is a voip that is ptt (push to Talk) activated witch is what gamers will love! You will also love it too.

Ventrilo is great but there somethings it doens’t have that i should mention straight forward. ventrilo unfortunattlly at the moment does not support video. This is one of the major downsides that vent has. But for this application, it is not needed. Now ventrillo is available for pc or mac. Check out ventrilo. Great voip. Setting up a server is easy. And then ust get the client.

This is my cell phone, the iPhone. It’s sleek, sexy, and very user friendly. love it. But, my sisster on the other and is currently using a RV3 Razor. And my sister thinks that she will be getting an iPhone 3G (remember she thinks” ANyways, i have been getting a lot of emails asking which cell phone has the bestUI? Well, I didn’t have many cell phones to work with so I used my Iphone and a Razor representing every other phone then the iPhone (just kidding )

At first use, the iPhone is very easy. You see big arrow and flashing words saying “Slide to Unlock”
The icons are very big, nice readble text, and an overall great ui. But still somepeople say “Well, the voyager has vibration feedback, etc etc.) Me, when I see the app open I know I hight the write button. Now, one of the nice things with the iPhone is, I think iyt is prett ovious s to touch an icon for it to execure it. Now sometime speople I know have gotten confused with the voyager and other touch screen phones. Do you touch it or not?

Now the Razor UI is not the best in my opinion but, my sister thinks it is very user friendly. The buttons are straight forward and pretty user friendly. Now granted, the buttons are easy but, let;s say you broke your hand and had a phone like that, that is harder. Overall, it has a pretty good UI but, the menus I would like to see improved.

The nest subject is: How well can I see my service, The time, and battery Health
The iPhone it is very easy to see it. Most cell phones the service is show by the Bars indicating your service , the time with standard time, and the battery with a usual battery symbol. The iPhone gives all of these easily, but the razor is a little bit different.

With the razor is has 2 screens.Before you flip the phone, on the front. And the second is inside the phone. Now what is nice about the razor and mostly another flip phone, they give you the basic info on the front of the phone. The date, and the time

What the heck is this? What? Dude, this is just weird dude, this is just wow! Maybe you can make sense of this chunk of text. What? I have been updated to the latest version of Firefox? What? No,no no…I am not that clueless. I mean c’mon. I am a geek, And any geek would know what today was? You are a geek right? You do know what today is? June 17th ring any bells? Today is the official Firefox 3.o Download Day! Yes 3.0 is released! We have been waiting so long for this glorious day! Now Firefox is not my primary browser but, I still use it. From what i have learned and experienced, Firefox is a very good, and stable browser for me when I stream live. So, with that being said….my review of Firefox 3.0

Man,today i got over 20 emails asking if Firefox was worth the wait. Do I download now? Do I wait? What do I do? And I replied with the same message “Give it a try. It doesn’t matter if Firefox isn’t your primary browser but , still it is worth a download. Check it out. See how you like it. You might just be surprised. If you want to wait for the Download Day hype to slow down a little wait a few days.” I was very lucky enough to be one of the first people to download Firefox 3.0. it took me about 5 minutes. Because I was one of the first people to download FF3, the homepage was still set for web developers and testers of the browser.

At first glance, Firefox 3 looks pretty sweet. It has a nice look, easy UI and an overall great appearance. It has a bookmark bar, a google search, and a new addition is “Most Visited” button. they have also added a multi search tingamabober, there you can not only search Google, but click the icon and have a drop down menu of places like Yahoo, Amazon.com, Answers, Creative Commons, eBay, and Wikipedia. The speed for me is a lt faster. I know it is”Firefox” but Firefox 2 wasen’t all that fast on my OS X machine.

The only bug I have faced so far with FF3 is with the ustream broadcaster. it says it is done loading the page but, the broadcaster hasn’t even loaded, just a big empty box. Hmmm, maybe just a small bump. But iverall a great browser. I came in expecting nothing, and came out with a something.

I am an apple fanatic! I have a macbook an iPhone 5 iPods and allot of other stuff. More and more these days you see macs filling up the workplace. My friend who’s dad is a professional printer here in L.A. uses almost all macs. Apple does bring alot to the table. Being an OEM and a computer engineer company all in one. Must be tough, but the computers are great. Now you must have atleast one apple product. Wether it be an iPod, iPod Touch, iPhone, macbook, etc. This might sound a little “geeky” but , have you ever wanted a list,specs, and even start up sounds of every product that Apple has ever released? Well , if you have the program is out there and it is dubbed Mactracker!

A Mac Pro is Apple’s top if the line machine. It is a power user’s dream , and a video/audio editor’s dream. The Mac Pro is Apple’s most expandable machine. You can always add more Ram, Memory, improve the graphic card, etc. You will probably never fill it all up, unless you are $Rich$. This is why I want/need a Mac Pro. Tower of the 8 core power baby!

I f you are someone on the go, loving to listen to a lot of music and watch movies, you need an iPod. But witch one? Well first let’s start off with this simple question how much music do you have? The iPod Touch has more memory available for it then the iPod Video aka iPod classic. Now do you have a lot of movies and do you acre for the quality. Now I am not saying that the iPod Classic has poor quality, but their is a big diffrence. With the iPod Tocuh you screen is bigger and your video quality is amazing! Now the biggest reason why it is to go out and spend $300 on a new iPod touch, the goodies! Safari, Email, photos, and now APple’s “Mobile Me” this is great! You will get so many more things with the iPod Touch then with the iPod Classic End of Story.

If you have a job where you travel alot from place to place then a macboom air mught be what you should get/ But, what about a macbook air. I have done many videos on thsi and to say it SImple: Macbook=More Stable Machine, a little bigger/more powerful

What is FTP? Many people did not know what ftp is. FTP stand for file transfer protocol. It basically means transferring files. And that is exactly what it is. Thanks agin to the all mighty cybergeek2021 in the chatroom he has allowed us this blog on this server. But, if i want to give him new plugins or stuff do i really need to go all that trouble? No by using an FTP client witch is a piece of software that lets me connect to a hostname it is easier. Trust me it is really easy use. Some FTP clients recommend are fetch and cyberduck. Just jump in it is easy!
