I have been using the service Ustream.tv for about 18 months and have overall been very pleased with the service. I you are not fimilar with Ustream, they are a free service that will allow you to stream live video and audio over the internet. Gain, completley free. It is overall one of the best online services I have ever used by far. But, in the later months of using it, the quality and realsonship the staff and support had with the comminuty dropped. I used to have a great connecting with the CTO over at Ustream who is named Tim, Any time I had a problem or issue, he would always take care of it fast, It was great, But, in my opiion as soon as Tim left Ustream for unknown reasons, it started to drop.

Now I do still ustream and don;t plan on stopping but, the problems I am facing now is slowing my prodcutivty down and now less and less videos get published. The problem? SImple dissconects that happen everytinme I stream! In a email to Chris the other day (http://chris.pirillo.com) I said this:

Hey Chris, I just wanted to ask if you had any problems with

ustream.tv broadcaster or the connection. For example, I will be right

in the middle of recording and then ustream will disconnect, or it

will stop broadcasting. This is getting annoying and after a while I

start to loose my emphasis and expression in the video. I used to be

able to shoot off an email Tim at ustream and he would get it taken

care of fast. But since he is gone, I have no contacts there and

Ustream Support takes forever. Just was curious to see if you had

I was then thankfull enough to be connected with a Ustream Director whos name I won;t release at the moment. He has been helpuiing me a great deal with the issues. I hopefully will get them resolved but am still pretty upset. The fact is I kknow this company as the potential buut what bothers me is that they don;t use it. Simple dissconects shpuld happen. They juust plane shouldn’t. And it anyyois me to the brekaing point when they happen. As i mentioned earlier, they happen right in the middle of a video recording. And as you can see in the email, I start to loose my mphisis and passion in the video. And that is absoulty something I do not want to do. I love live streaming and want to contuie to do it but, if these issues occur, how can I? It just boils down to the support you have. Hopefully, al will go well, and I will no firther Ustream. But if not, I keep locked my head hat I might do. But, let me jyst make this clear. I WILL NOT STOP LIVE STREAMING! I have some thought about Mogolus and such buu, the big thing is the emedding f videos. I don;t want to get intot this subject to much because, I want too stick with ustream as I have been for the past year and a half.  

Again I hope all goes well. If not I would hate to think what would happen to my life. ustream makes everything so easy and that is probably one of the buggiest reasons I chose to stick with them. So let’s see. Do, if things do not clear up, call it quits with Utream.tv?
