Where do you listen to your music?
I love to listen to music. Now, I’m not of those obsessed people who have hundreds of songs and sits around all day seeing how many songs they can listen too. No. I am better known as someone who listens to music to unwind, while he works, and to geek out! My kind of music? Anything (except country) I like Jazz, R&B, Rock,Rap,and techno. Now many peole ask me “Where do you listen to your music?” or “Where or what is the best place or player to listen to music on?” Well here I will list some of my favorite places or apps to listen to music and what I like about them…

- iTunes
- Rhapsody
- Pandora
- Songbird
                        iTunes
iTunes has got to be the #1 music store/music player around the world. It has a great UI, very intuitive, and doesn’t look half bad. The ease of buying content off the iTunes store and having it be easily transferred directly to your library is very nice. Now the iTune “Store” and the iTunes “Media Player” are not all different but, none the less different. In this blogpost I am not so much talking about where you “get” your media, that is another blogpost for another day. ut if it all iTunes has some very nice features and bells and whistles built in. It is a good music player,
                   Rhapsody
Rhapsody has got to be one of my most favroite music players out of everything. Rhapsody is a service that you sign up, and you can get unlimited music all for free. Now Rhapsody is not free but $12.99 is worth having access to over 1,000,000 songs. It too has a very easy interface to follow an is very easy to use. Rhapsody has a hew ways for you to listen to your music. If you are on windows you can download the Rhapsody software (free) that will let you listen and download your favorite music. Now you might be thinking “Ok, well I am not running on Windows. What are my other options?” Well, Rhapsody has a very nice, small, player that runs inside the browser. I think all you need for it is the Real Player but you can also download on the Rhapsody site as well. This window is very small, easy to fit in the corner of the screen, and very easy to use as well. It has the easy controls: Start, Pause, skip,o back, etc. What is also nice about Rhapsody is that it will ethier let you listen to the entire album, or just the song. Rhapsody also lets you listen to 25 songs free a month if you do not want to get an account.
                        Pandora
Pandora is part of a program called the “Gnome Project” and is very unique in it;s way. WIth Pandora you listen to music kind of like to listen to a radio station. You pick an artist, listen to a couple of their songs and then Pandora (using what it knows about the kind of music you listen to) gives you a new band similar to what you are listening to. You might love it or hate it. Try it for yourself.
                       Songbird
You might not of heard of Songbirs before but it is their. SOngbird is a downloadabe.crossplatoform, media player. From what I here it is very good.
So go out and try all of these. Where do you listen to your music? (Leave a comment)    Â
